Re-enrollment

It is our hope and prayer that all of our students will be returning next year.  Please complete and return the form(s) as soon as possible.  A $175 deposit per child must accompany the form(s).  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school office.  Also, if you have a Kindergarten-age child, please return your enrollment form very soon as Kindergarten is almost full for next year.

Spring Fund Raiser-Pizza Sale

St. Peter’s school conducts 3 fundraisers a year; fall, winter, and spring.  Our spring fund raiser will be Joe Corbi’s pizza kits and baked goods.   We have used this company in the past and have found the products and service very good.  Students will receive a catalog and an information sheet on Wednesday, March 31.  We ask that you try to take orders, and return the forms with the money on Wednesday, April 14th.  The items will be delivered to St. Peter’s on Tuesday, April 27th, for you go distribute.  All profits will go to fund our technology program.

S.T.A.R.S. NIGHT

This year’s S.T.A.R.S. Night is Friday, March 12.  The festivities begin at 6:00 PM with the opportunity to walk through the classrooms and view the students’ displays.  The Talent Show portion of the evening will begin at 7 PM.  Star’s Night auditions will be on Wednesday and Thursday, February 10 & 11 from 3:45-5:00pm.  Your child should have received information and necessary forms last week.  More information will be available from Mrs. Johnson or your child’s teacher.

Penny Wars

From Monday through Thursday during Lutheran Schools Week the Penny War is on!  The idea of Penny War is for classrooms to compete against each other by trying to collect the most pennies.  Each classroom will receive 1 point for every penny put in the penny jar.  However, if competing classrooms place silver coins (nickels, dimes, quarters, etc) or paper money in the opposing classroom’s jar, that number of points will be subtracted from their penny collections.

Sunday/Wednesday Worship !

We can never over emphasize the importance and blessings of faithful church attendance.  It is through the Mean of Grace – God’s Word and Sacraments – that our faith continues to grow, and forgiveness and eternal life are assured.  See you in Church!

P.T.L. MARKET DAY:

Once a month you have the opportunity to place an order through our Market Day Food Program.  Order forms are attached to the Cougar Connection and also available in the school office.  Simply fill out the order form and place it in the Market Day box located on the first floor main hallway.  Watch the school calendar for both order and delivery dates. Help on delivery days (8:30-11:30) is always needed and a great way to earn Family Service Hours. If you have any questions, call Heather Voakes, our Market Day Chairman.

Peewee and Junior Basketball

Our very successful PeeWee & Junior Basketball Program is in full swing.  Practices will begin soon  and games will follow next month.  A BIG thank you to Kim McKendrick and all the coaches, team moms, and referees that make this program such a great experience for all our children.  We can always use additional help
