Red Cross

St. Peter Lutheran Church and American Red Cross are hosting a blood drive on Friday April 27, 2012 from 02:00pm to 08:00pm.

Please join our lifesaving mission and schedule an appointment today! Click here to make an appointment.

We still need about 40 more appointments to make our goal! Please schedule today.

The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime.

Thank you for supporting the American Red Cross blood program!

Operation Love

Help send LOVE to OUR TROOPS! Beginning October 1st, the Human Care Committee began an ongoing project of mailing LOVE packages to our troops. We are collecting donated items such as food products (canned soups, trail mix, beef jerky, cookies, powdered drinks, etc.), personal hygiene items (toothpaste, brushes, shampoo, toilet paper, etc.), forms of entertainment (card games, puzzles, magazines, comics, paperbacks, baseballs, frisbees, etc.) and miscellaneous items (pens, paper, pre-paid phone cards, etc.) Also, please consider donating various Christmas treats or letters you may wish to include.

PLEASE: NO PERISHABLE FOODS. It takes 7-10 days for the troops to receive the packages once they are shipped.

You can drop off your donated items in room 101. There will be a special container marked "Operation Love". Thank you.  Any questions, please contact Laverne Santangelo at 586-945-4949.
