Our Worship Services

Worship services are held every Sunday at 8:00 and 10:30, and every Wednesday evening at 7:00.

The parking lot is located in the rear of the building, and accessible from Gratiot Ave. Handicap parking is available along the south side of the building.

The church can be entered through multiple entrances. At the front of the building facing Gratiot Ave. are two entrances, one of which is handicap-accessible and includes a ramp. These and the door on the southwest corner of the building all have immediate access to the back of the sanctuary. The main entrance is located off of the parking lot behind the building, which leads into the overflow and front of the church.

Greeters are available at the entrances of the sanctuary to pass out bulletins for the worship service and give assistance or answer any questions.

Unless marked, there is no reserved seating - please sit wherever you are comfortable! There is limited handicap seating for wheelchairs located in the overflow.

There is a red attendance boot at the end of each pew. During the collection of the offering, please fill out your contact information so we can keep in touch, then pass the book along to the person sitting next to you.

All confirmed members of The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod are welcome to receive Holy Communion. The usher will dismiss your pew when it is time to go up to the altar to receive the Sacrament. If you are unable to walk up to the altar, let your usher know, and the pastor will commune you at your seat. Those interested in becoming confirmed should speak to the Pastor to arrange for a time to take the class.

Worshiping with little ones? Try one of our activity bags filled with crayons and notebooks to keep kids happy during the service. Bags are located outside the entrances of the sanctuary. There is also a soundproof cry room located on the second floor and overlooking the sanctuary that is filled with plenty of toys where you can still follow along with the service. During most services, the children are also invited to come forward for a brief children's sermon.

After the service, be sure to check out our bulletin boards in the hallway for the latest information on what's happening at St. Peter's. You are also welcome to join us for coffee and doughnuts before the Bible Class in the school cafeteria immediately following the 8:00 service - typically around 9:00.
